This is my last official week at JC.
In fact, it isn't even a full week.
I have three and a half days left at Jamestown College.
It fees like just yesterday I set foot on to this campus and met tons of awesome people.
A Hall ladies!
It just does not seem real to me that I will not be here to sit through classes starting in January or walk across the stage in May. I guess the saying "time flies when you're having fun" really it true!
I cannot imagine a better place to have spent my time. I have been so thankful to have met everyone here, for the professors who inspired me to do what I thought I could not, and to the random adventures and experiences I had while I was here.
Too all at JC, thank you! thank you! thank you!
Now on to catching you all up on my next adventure: Denmark!

Now on to catching you all up on my next adventure: Denmark!
This past month of preparing to go abroad has been a very stressful, tearful, and confusing time. A lot of "are you sure you are actually going" and "why would they send you if they didn't know you had to have this, this, and this done" questions from both my parents and grandparents. These being some of the more positive things I have heard.
Nothing makes me want to go as much as hearing some of the most important people in my life doubt me and this trip.
The biggest thing that I have been struggling with is getting my application to the Danish Embassy in New York or Washington D.C., or Chicago.
This application has to be submitted in person.
To the Danish Embassy.
This application will get me a Biometric Card so I can become a resident of Denmark for six months.
That's right. I will be a resident of another country.
Too bad America does not acknowledge this double residency!
Both my parents and I have made several phone calls to Washington D.C., and New York. I have also sent emails to Washington D.C. and Minneapolis (Danish Consulate) asking why exactly I have to submit the application in person.
The reason: for my fingerprints. Yes, I have to fly across the country to give them my fingerprints.
Personally, I would rather just go over to the Police Station in Jtown and have them do it up, but for some reason that does not work.
That being said, my family has decided I will go to New York to get this done.
Cool, a trip to New York. Sounds great doesn't it?
Wrong.
Flying to New York just to have my fingerprints taken. This is money that I could have used to explore Europe, instead it will be to sit an in office. In New York.
I'm not bitter, I promise! I just imagined that the money I worked so hard for this summer would be for the Europe part of my trip. Not the American part.
I guess I really should stop rambling on about this, but I said I would keep everyone updated on my adventure. Does this count as an adventure?
Because to me, its been more of a nightmare.
And that is putting it nicely.
On the up side to all of this, 43 days until I fly off to a new place with new experiences and people!
Being that it's finals week. I shall end with this.
May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favor!
