Making history, mine of course!

Waiting.

Patiently waiting.

The hardest thing to do is wait.

But here I am, patiently waiting to find out where I am to be placed next semester.

I have no idea when exactly I will find out where I am going.

I knew it was between six to eight weeks, well it has now been six weeks.

And still I wait.

patiently. anxiously. nervously.

And as I wait, I start to think about different things. Will I get accepted? Will I not get accepted? What will I do if I do not get accepted? If I do, where will I go? Will I fit in when I'm there? There are so many more questions that I could post, but I feel that you get the point.

This waiting is a hard thing to do, but I have no other choice.

...

I started writing this blog about six weeks after sending my application in. The six to eight weeks of waiting is a really hard thing to do. Luckily, I did not have to wait eight weeks. It took exactly six weeks and three days to find out, yes I am a nerd and counted the days!!

But I was placed in...

"It's gonna be legen
— wait for it...
and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of that word is
DARY!"

DENMARK!

(Yes, a HIMYM reference, I'm totally okay with it)

I was placed at Aalborg University in Aalborg Denmark!

I couldn't be more thrilled to learn where I am going! The Danish blood in me is excited to see what adventures I will have while there!

To prepare myself I had to ask the all important question: will I be able to get peanut butter there?
The answer, when I find out I will let you know!

Until then, chin up buttercup, it's almost Friday!
